XDAT Version 2.2 - RELEASE NOTES #### NEW FEATURES #### - Additional Clustering UI on a side panel in the parallel coordinates chart - Hovered designs are highlighted and can be click-selected in the chart - Color gradient can be applied to all designs according to their respective value on one axis - (Semi-)transparency of designs in parallel coordinate charts - Anti-aliasing in parallel coordinate charts - Click-drag selection on parallel coordinate chart to filter on multiple axes at once - "Invert" axis option in context menu #### FIXED BUGS #### - New windows are not positioned sensibly on multi-display setup #### KNOWN ISSUES #### - Scientific number formats are recognized as strings, not as numbers - When there are many parameters the menus for parameter display in charts and for parameter removal in the main window get very long. If they expand outside of the window that belongs to the menu then the menu items outside of the window cannot be selected by dragging to them and releasing the mouse button. The workaround is to open the menu with an actual click (press and release button) and selecting the desired menu item through another click. At the moment I am assuming that this is a limitation in Java. ### Acknowledgements ######## Thanks to Tom Horak, Lucas Recknagel and Marko Hauptvogel for writing most of the code for the features mentioned above, and, more importantly, for sharing it back so I could incorporate it into XDAT.
