XDAT Version 1.5 - RELEASE NOTES #### NEW FEATURES #### - User preferences are now stored in a platform-specific way that avoids the need for a user settings file. (E.g. under windows the settings are stored in the registry.) - The click-wrap license checker has been simplified, so that the license key file is no longer needed. - As a result of the above two changes, the whole program fits in one single jar file, making it more userfriendly because no installation procedure is required anymore. #### FIXED BUGS #### - n/a #### KNOWN ISSUES #### - When datasets with many designs have string variables with many different levels this may have a strong impact on performance. In such cases the program may seem to have become unresponsive. It is therefore recommended to remove such variables. - When importing data without headers the menu items that are required to continue working are not enabled. This makes the complete feature unusable. The only workaround is defining headers in the input file before importing it and using the option "import data with headers". - When making changes to the datasheet the charts are not updated appropriately. Especially when the change results in a discrete parameter becoming numeric the active charts do not reflect this change properly. - Session file saving does not work when the Cluster dialog was used in the current session. - Opening the Custom Parameter Selection Dialog from the Charts menu makes XDAT crash on Windows.
