XDAT Version 2.2 - INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Make sure that you have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your system. If you do not have it you can download it at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html Linux users can use the OpenJDK typically available from their distribution's software repositories. Other then that XDAT actually does not require any installation. Just follow the steps below to run it. * Download the executable jar file. * Extract the downloaded zip file to a folder of your choice. * On Windows, xdat can be started by double-clicking on the file named xdat.jar * If that does not work or if you are on Linux, open a console in the directory where the xdat.jar file is located and type "java -jar xdat.jar" (without the quotes).
